Easy
Ingredients
1 cup thickened cream
30g unsalted butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup caster sugar
30g dark chocolate, roughly chopped
1/3 cup cocoa powder
Good quality vanilla ice cream
Sliced banana
Salty, roasted peanuts
Method
Step 1. Place the cream, butter and both sugars into a saucepan and place over medium heat.
Step 2. Once the butter has melted and the sugar has dissolved, add the chocolate and whisk to combine. When the chocolate has melted, add the cocoa powder and whisk again. Continue to cook and whisk for a few minutes until it becomes thick and glossy.
Step 3. To assemble the sundae, pour some hot fudge into the bottom of a bowl, followed by ice cream and another layer of fudge. Top with fresh bananas and peanuts.
Notes
Save leftover fudge in a jar in the fridge for up to one week and reheat in the microwave
